About
My name is Hannah Wallace
I write about regenerative agriculture, climate, wine, food, startups, and more. I write for many outlets including Bloomberg, Civil Eats, Dwell, Fast Company, Food & Wine, Inc., Oregon Business, Reasons to be Cheerful, Vogue, Wired, and the New York Times. I'm also a freelance editor. Born in England, I grew up in Westminster, Maryland and Salem, Oregon, and then went on to study art history and literature at Mount Holyoke College. After spending nearly a decade on staff at Travel + Leisure, I left the security of a full-time job to freelance.

Today I live with my husband (also a journalist) in Portland, Oregon, where—when I'm not busy interviewing chefs about climate-related supply chain disruptions or touring pscilocybin clinics—you'll find me jogging in Laurelhurst Park.
